Kaminey as anticipated earlier breaks Shahid Kapur's image as the 'lover-boy' of the movie biz. Kapoor essays both his roles playing Charlie and Guddu amazingly well. The lisp, the stammering, the look, the language all were just perfect. And to top it all was the action, the running and chasing drama. It was all very refreshing. The girl, Priyanka Chopra gets better with each subsequent movie. As good as Fashion was, SWEETY just beats every character she's played till date. From her really aggressive dialogues to loving caress, everything is just absolute. Amole Gupte is as good an actor as he's a writer or director. He was exceptional as bhope bhao. He plays the real villain (or 'Kamina' in this films context) who people cannot help loving. Director Vishal Bhardwaj does it yet again. He is by far one of the most original script writer and director of our time. He brings out the best out of all his actors and doesn't take any credit away from them too.
You will either love or passionately despise this movie. For the most part it is a youthful, energetic movie which would be mostly appreciated by people who look for talent, great story line and less typical bollywood style drama in a movie. As far as I am concerned I bet my money on it and would be willing to go to the cinema more than once if I get a chance.
